Week 5 Thing 11 and 12

I already had placed a kitten from an online image generator. It was fun. I only added 2 books to the library things. Truth is I am trying to cut down on my own personal library as someday I hope to move. Anyway I have a wonderful library(CCPL) to borrow books from . Creating some reference urls on Rollyo. Amazing I did not know all these sites and items were out there for us to use.

Week 5 Thing 10 I loved the kitten image generator. The kitten on the left is sooo cute! My avatar took a little while but with the help of coworkers I was able to finish it.

Bloglines Week 4

I still have not received my verification e-mail but I was able to sign up for the RSS feeds. Go figure. I signed up for 3 of the library RSS feeds. The reader's club Rss feed was not recognized or is not really a feed or something is wrong as I could not subscribe to it. RSS feeds will help librarians keep up to date on the latest news and information within the profession. I can see more libraries and librarians using RSS feeds. Perhaps in the far future we could eliminate some newspapers???? I still have to Explore MERLIN and a few useful library related-blogs and news feeds more in depth.

Week 3 Looking at Flickr again

Looking at Flickr program again. I really like this program and intend to use it on my home computer. Checked out some beautiful butterfly photos on Flickr---gorgeous!!!! I would like to have an IPOD someday. Perhaps I could persuade my children to purchase one for me for a combination birthday/Christmas gift or at last resort purchase one for myself. Technology here I come
